These assets were originally intended to be a part of a larger project that never went ahead. They’ve been sitting on my drive gathering dust, so I thought instead I’d put together a quick display. I think they could use some more wear and tear to really sell, but I’m rather taken with the idea of the binary clock display.

I approached the clock originally by trying to figure out how time & numbers would be displayed in a culture using a binary counting system. I imagine that it might be split neatly into hexadecimal chunks of 4 bits - here representing a 16 hour day, with 16 ‘minutes’ per hour, and 256 ‘seconds’ to the minute. If you were used to such a thing, it might be quite readable.
