I created this piece out of a desire to build on my skills in texture painting. The intent was to evoke a pleasant and dreamlike atmosphere, which I feel I achieved. To challenge myself, I decided that there would be no cg shading of any kind in this scene. All lighting is instead hand-painted into the color maps - and I’m incredibly pleased with the outcome.
